Inside atNorth’s $4bn sale to CPPIB and Equinix

On 27 February, Partners Group announced it had agreed to sell Reykjavik-headquartered Nordic datacentre operator atNorth to a consortium of CPP Investments and Equinix, for US$4bn.

Equinix and CPP Investments emerged victorious over the Digital Realty and PSP Investments consortium and other parties who submitted bids in the first round, including Antin and KKR.
