Kelvin Lee
Co-Founder and CEO, Fundnel

Speaker Profile

Kelvin is the co-founder and CEO of Fundnel. He established the private investment platform in 2015 with the vision of making a difference to small and medium-sized enterprises that experience insufficient access to growth and expansion funding.

At Fundnel, Kelvin is responsible for driving growth and strategic initiatives across every facet of the business. Under his leadership, the company has achieved a total deal origination value of US$800 million with 25 transactions completed to date. Fundnel has also since expanded its footprint out of Singapore to Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, India and Australia.

The former investment banker was previously with J.P. Morgan covering clients in North and Southeast Asia and had raised over US$20 billion. Prior to which, he was with Standard Chartered working on leveraged and acquisition finance, balance sheet and capital structure optimisation, and other alternative structured capital raising solutions such as the securitization of receivables and
the provision of sale and leaseback structures.

Kelvin’s entrepreneurial acumen and thought-leadership has been recognised by the industry. In 2018, he was handpicked by Singapore Tatler for inclusion in its Generation T list – a prestigious cohort of 50 local entrepreneurs, innovators and disruptors, shaping the future of the city state. Most recently, Kelvin represented Fundnel as a panelist at Innovest Unbound Singapore 2018,
Southeast Asia’s largest innovation festival.
