TM CEO steps down

Telekom Malaysia (TM) announced that its acting group CEO Datuk Bazlan Osman has resigned effective November 16, 2018. He has also given notice of his resignation as executive director (ED) which takes effect on February 28, 2019. He took the helm at the company in June 2018 after the resignatioin of Dato’ Sri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly. Datuk Bazlan began his career in TM as Group CFO in 2005.

Following the change, TM appointed COO Imri Mokhtar to the role of acting group CEO. Mokhtar has over 20 years of experience in business strategy and operations from the communications and media industry. He first started his career with TM in 1996 and re-joined TM in 2005. He had served in various positions in TM including as VP, programme and performance management office and EVP, consumer.
