Charlotte Lawrence is an Associate Director in the European Technology fund, advising on European buyout and growth investments. Ms. Lawrence is based in London.

Since joining Carlyle in early 2010, Ms. Lawrence has been actively involved in Carlyle’s investments in FRS Global, The Foundry, Itconic (formerly Telvent Global Services), Graze and Eggplant. FRS Global was exited in 2010 when it was sold to Wolters Kluwer N.V. (AEX: WKL), The Foundry was exited in 2015 when it was sold to Hg Capital and Itconic was exited in 2017 when it was sold to Equinix, Inc (Nasdaq: EQIX).

Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Lawrence worked in the Investment Banking Divisions at Merrill Lynch and UBS in London. She received her MPhysPhil in physics and philosophy from Oxford University.

Ms. Lawrence is a non-executive director on the board of Eggplant and Graze as well an executive director of Gabriel Securities, a property investment group. She previously represented Carlyle on the boards of The Foundry and Itconic.
