Engineer Morenikeji Aniye, The Managing Director /CEO of Hotspot Network Limited is the Founder of Hotspot Network Limited ,He is a dynamic and talented entrepreneur with many years of experience working at the  top management level in the major telecom service providers in Nigeria.

Morenikeji Aniye has over a decade worked in the Telecommunications industry. He is highly experienced in radio network planning and optimization most importantly in areas of strategy formulation and cost effective solutions.

He started out at Basscom Nigeria ltd in 1999 as a project engineers, he worked on the Nigeria Security printing and Minting Company (NSPMC) security network project.

He later joined as one of the premier Radio Frequency (RF) Engineers of Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) in October, 2001.  Among many of his laudable achievements while at MTN includes the earliest Radio network planning deployment in the upper Niger GSM network. He handled as part of this land mark achievement, -Radio network propagation tunining for Nigeria network, radio network planning and optimization.

He successfully led the project team that swapped out ericsson nodes from the northern part of the country to Huawei on MTN network, The first of its kind in MTN Nigeria. His incomparable dedication to duty put him ahead of his peers and eventually earned him the position of the RF planning and optimization regional manager for the North.

He was seconded to MTN international (MTN SA) in 2004, where he worked as RF engineer at MTN SA office in Johannesburg while in South Africa, Morenikeji Aniye was in charge of radio network planning and optimization for Pretoria city. He assisted on radio network parameter tuning and integration of dual band network in south Africa.

He worked with the likes of Demola Elosho (CTO MTN), Abiodun Adeoye – (Head of Radio Planning nationwide MTN), Sifiso Debangwa (CEO MTN) during his applaud able career at one of the foremost telecommunications companies in Africa and the Mid-East.

Morenikeji Aniye has attended many capacity building and development programs in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. He has acquired numerable skills ranging from Management, Technical and Leadership skills while at MTN.

With a first degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Engr. Aniye has attended trainings, conferences, workshops and seminars globally, and is a holder of several relevant certifications and experience in business management, corporate strategy, project management, engineering and telecommunications. After a successful career in MTN, Morenikeji sort to make a difference in another formidable telecommunications company Celtel, which was later acquired by ZAIN. At Zain Now Airtel, He was the Radio planning and Transmission manger for 3 regions (North Central, North West and North East).

He led the decommissioning and cutover of BTS Infrastructure from Motorola to Ericsson in the nation’s Capital Abuja despite skepticism from many quarters as to the possibility of meeting stringent deadlines. He was known in Zain Nigeria now Airtel Nigeria for dogged and thorough approach to monitoring and optimizing the network for better service delivery. Excellence and optimum use of resources was his hallmark at Zain. He motivated and challenged his team members on a constant basis, imbibed the 360 degree leader rule and extended the challenge to top management, thus Scoffield became a house hold name again in Zain.

He left Zain in 2008 to set up Verreaux Technologies ltd as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Verreaux Technologies ltd was engaged in Telecoms projects.

Prior to setting up the firm, he was at one time the MD/CEO of Abuja connect.

In 2012 Verreaux Technologies Limited transited to Hotspot Network Limited and Engr. Morenikeji Aniye was the Founder and pioneer CEO. Engr. Morenikeji Aniye is married to Mrs Bukola Aniye and blessed with two lovely sons (Oluwadarasimi and Oluwademilade) and a Daughter(Oluwadamitan).
