Spanish telecom infrastructure giant Cellnex was tipped to be teaming up with an Australian infrastructure fund, IFM Investors, to place an offer for the forthcoming sale of Australian MNO Optus' tower assets, TMT Finance reported.

TMT Finance exclusively reported that Digital Colony- and EQT Infrastructure-owned infrastructure provider Zayo was nearing a deal to acquire Indianapolis-headquartered fibre company Intelligent Fiber Networks (IFN) before Zayo publicly announced it had entered into a definitive agreement with IFN later in the month. TMT Finance also exclusively reported, investment banks Houlihan Lokey and Stifel are managing the sale.

People Moves: JP Morgan TMT MD joins Stonepeak DC co
JP Morgan's managing director and co-head of TMT investment banking in Asia, Yaniv Ghitis, departed the bank to join Digital Edge DC, a datacentre operator backed by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Ghitis will continue to be based in Hong Kong, where he has been during 13 of his 17 years at JP Morgan.
