A major promotion spree in Morgan Stanley's TMT team, spanning London, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo – which saw five new TMT managing directors named and a further 15 TMT-focused bankers making vice president.

The Chinese owners of British datacentre operator Global Switch appointed Morgan Stanley and UBS to scout for buyers of the business, which could be valued at up to £8bn, and attract a formidable list of international operators and sponsors.

Investment bank Houlihan Lokey appointed by private equity firm Inflexion on a new sale process of Kynetec, a UK specialist information data provider focused on the agriculture and animal health market, with an EBITDA of around £10m to £12m.
EMEA: Bank of America launches E600m fibre sale
Plans by Altice Europe to hive off some of its French wholesale fibre network, valued at up to E600m. Bank of America has been drafted in to run the sale process which is likely to attract a long list of infrastructure funds.
Americas: DH Capital lands US datacentre sale mandate
Boutique investment bank DH Capital is managing the upcoming sale of Austin, Texas-headquartered datacentre colocation, disaster recovery, and managed services provider Data Foundry, valued at up to US$400m. IMs were out in January with first bids due in Feb.
