TMT Finance is proud to welcome edotco Group to the agenda for TMT Finance Asia 2019, taking place 23-24 January in Singapore.

edotco Group’s CFO, Thivanka Rangala will present the opening visionary keynote of the first day on telecoms and be a highly valued member of the 5G Leadership Panel, discussing the business case for 5G and how investment strategies will shape the next wave of connectivity.

In addition, Carson Wolfer, Director of Group Mergers & Acquisitions at edotco Group will also be a key member of our panel discussing Fibre and Broadband Investment and M&A Strategies.

The company is remarkable for being the first regional and integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia, providing end-to-end solutions in the tower services sector from tower leasing, co-locations, build-to-suit, energy, transmission and operations and maintenance (O&M).

edotco Group, which was formerly part of Axiata Group, has made a number of ground-breaking acquisitions across Asia in recent years and is reported to be targeting new investments across the region in 2019.  It currently has a regional portfolio that includes over 28,000 towers across their core markets of Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan and Myanmar. edotco has a huge pool of experience and knowledge to share with the event attendees.

Mr Rangala provided an insight into his focus for the business during a recent interview with TMT Finance. He explains, “We are very much an Asian focused entity at the moment and in that footprint I do honestly believe there is a great deal of opportunity out there. It is for us to work out a deal that makes sense to us in terms of integration.”
