Scott Barton, Head of Global Banking & Markets, Middle East, Royal Bank of Scotland

 

photo of Scott BartonRecently appointed as Head of Middle East for Global Banking & Markets at Royal Bank of Scotland, Scott previously headed the team responsible for the coverage of GBM corporate clients in the UK and Middle East. He has been in the role for 16 months, having previously been head of TMT and MNC Corporate before taking up this role.

Scott spent four years with RBS in New York and Houston between 1998 and 2002 running a portfolio of industrial and energy clients. Scott has been with RBS for 15 years having joined from Andersen Consulting.

Scott holds a First in Management Sciences from Loughborough University, a Diploma in Marketing from the CIM and an MBA from Cass business school.

Scott is married with two sons and his interest include football, running and food.
