Neil Jones, Managing Director, Head of Corporate TMT & Infrastructure, Middle East, Royal Bank of Scotland
has
recently been appointed Head of RBS’s Middle East Corporate
TMT & Infrastructure Coverage team, having previously headed RBS’s
Leveraged TMT team from 2006 – 2008 and prior to that being
Head of Telecoms at the bank. He was involved in the bank’s
marketing initiative into the Middle East in 2005 – 2006 and
during his time at RBS he has had involvement across a wide range
of geographic markets including Western Europe, Central Europe, and
Asia Pacific. Neil joined the TMT team at RBS in January 2001, having
previously worked for a range of international banking institutions
including Societe Generale, Credit Lyonnais and Credit Commercial
de France.
He has been directly involved
in the TMT sector since 1996 and has specialised in structured / project
finance opportunities across a range of Western and Central European
markets, whilst at the same time retaining close contacts with investment
grade / corporate names in the sector. His recent involvement in the
Leveraged Finance market has also provided him with a wide range of
fund based contacts.
Neil is married with two young children and
lives in Surrey. In his spare time he is a keen follower of Aston
Villa football club, is a collector of a wide range of “modern”
music, attempts to develop his golf, and enjoys good food and travelling.
