Orascom corporate finance head leaves for hedge fund
Karim Nasr, the Corporate Finance head at Orascom Telecom and Wind Telecom, has left to form Digital World Capital LLP, an alternative asset management company that intends to launch a hedge fund specializing in telecom and technology investments across the capital structure, based out of London.
Nasr spent 12 years at Orascom and Wind helping to grow the business from one million subscribers to one of the largest telecom groups in the world.

Orascom Exec Chairman resigns
Orascom Telecom has announced that its executive chairman and member of the board, Khaled Bichara, is due to resign by the end of December. Bichara, who joined Orascom Telecom 12 years ago, will continue to assume “all responsibilities” of his current position until his departure.
Bichara said that he planned to move on to pursue new business opportunities.
