Netline Peru snapped up

Chilean telecoms group GTD announced the acquisition of Peruvian telecoms operator Netline Perú. The total value of the transaction was not disclosed.

With the move, GTD group is looking to strengthen its position in the region. Netline Peru is mainly a B2B company that offers both fixed line and optic fibre services, and it has a presence in the regions of Lima, Moquegua, Arequipa, Trujillo and Chiclayo.

Chile’s GTD group had previously entered the Peruvian market through its subsidiary GTD Wigo, which signed a partnership with Grupo Romero in 2015.
